Use this form for: Valves that need to maintain a constant system (valve inlet) pressure, where the valve will discharge the excess flow from overpressure. Be sure to specify if the valve is discharging into a drain at near-atmospheric pressure, or if discharging into a pressurized tank or piping system. This will determine the type of valve that will be recommended.

Also, use this form for applications where a minimum system pressure must be maintained at startup, and then pass full flow through the valve after initial backpressure has been reached. Be sure to specify the maximum system pressure that both the valve inlet and outlet port will be subjected to.
